“Patricia has more than nineteen years’ experience as a clinical herbalist and teacher. Her book, Medicinal Plants of the Southern Appalachians (2006) is one of the foremost resources on the topic of regional native plant medicines. Her clinical practice has offices in Clayton and Decatur (Atlanta metro area), Georgia.” from link below. By checking her website, you will see some other classes that she is offering this spring.

John at Learning Herbs has quite a few opportunities to learn online, and he has the cool game, Wildcraft, An Herbal Adventure for kids, adults can play too! I won this game from a webinar that I attended, so lucky!

I took this fabulous course, well I guess you could call it a course, really a video series that I can go back to forever and ever. The course was “Rosemary’s Remedies” with Rosemary Gladstar who I LOVE!!! Rosemary makes learning herbalism so much more simple and clear and fun! The course included about 40 hours of videos, making you feel as if you were right there in front of her. Unfortunately, it is no longer available to join but you never know when John will add something back.

Now, he has up on his site, for only a couple days, a new course with herbalist, 7Song, who is with Herb First Aid and has been an herbalist for 30 years! I watched a free video from 7Song and in just the short 30 minutes, I can tell you I learned a bunch about the herb, Yarrow.Yarrow(Achilles millefolium) is a wound cleanser and the first plant you want to go to for any open wounds, to stop bleeding, minor wounds that is!
